1878 $3 --Damaged--ANACS. MS60 Details. Many people who see this coin will at first silently ask, "Where's the damage?" The obverse is beautiful and blemish-free. The reverse also appears smooth at first glance, although thorough inspection locates two edge marks near 5:30, and a pair of small abrasions on the R in DOLLARS and below.
