Description

1863 1C MS66 NGC. The 1863 is a popular type issue thanks to a generous mintage. This is a bright, lustrous example that is remarkably light in color. The only mentionable flaw we note is a certain softness on the tips of the feathers in the headdress, a common occurrence on the various copper-nickel Indian cent issues. Census: 34 in 66, 2 finer (11/10).
