Satiny MS65
1915-S $2 1/2 Panama-Pacific Quarter Eagle MS65 NGC. The
triumph of medicine over yellow fever during the construction of
the Panama Canal is one of the themes that this satiny Gem quarter
eagle conveys. Attractive, medium-gold color glows with rich mint
luster over the sharply struck surfaces. While 10,017 pieces were
struck, nearly a third of the mintage went unsold and was melted
