Better Charlotte Issue
1857-C G$1 AU55 NGC. The penultimate Charlotte Mint gold
dollar issue is rare, from a mintage of just 13,280 pieces. This
Choice AU straw-gold representative shows light wear on the
forehead curls and other high points. The strike is good by the
standards of the facility, though softness is present on the upper
left portion of the wreath. Close inspection fails to locate
