Description
1860-S Seated Quarter, Fine 15
Significant No Motto Key
1860-S 25C Fine 15 PCGS. Briggs 1-A. Struck to the extant of
just 56,000 coins, the 1860-S ranks as a major key issue in the
Seated quarter series. PCGS records only 65 grading events in all
grades, with just six coins seen above the VF grade level and only
a single piece in Mint State. This is a collectible Fine 15 coin,
showing a clear LIBERTY and nearly enough feather detail to qualify
for a VF designation. Smooth nickel-gray surfaces yield a hint of
deeper golden color in the recesses, delivering pleasing eye appeal
for the grade. Population: 7 in 15, 22 finer (2/15).(Registry values: P8)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23TS, PCGS# 5453, Greysheet# 5193)
