Impressive 1887 Wrong Metal Error Nickel
1887 5C Liberty Nickel--Struck on a Columbia Five Centavos Planchet--VG10 ANACS. Medium gray surfaces with hints of champagne toning on both sides. Weakened peripheries due to the slightly smaller diameter of the Five Centavos planchet. Minor abrasions and other tiny imperfections are visible on both sides.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22PL, PCGS# 3848, Greysheet# 2952)
