1893 $1 MS65 NGC. The 1893-P is a scarce issue from the mid-1890s, but it is not one of the great rarities in the series. It is often overlooked by Dollar specialists and is not usually accorded the respect it actually deserves. Only 27 Gems have been certified by NGC with two finer (1/02). This brilliant example has soft, frosted mint luster and there are just a few luster grazes scattered over each side.
