Scarce New Orleans Mint
1855-O G$1 AU58 PCGS. Winter-1. As usual without lapping on
the upper-left portion of the wreath. This Type Two gold dollar is
well-detailed, save for normal incompleteness on a few letters in
DOLLAR and on the 8 in the date. The surfaces on this popular New
Orleans issue are a satiny yellow-gold with slight evidence of
