1849 G$1 No L, D-1, Normal Stars, MS64 PCGS. Only one die pair exists for the No L, Open Wreath variety. It is readily identified by the two widely repunched stars below the bust. This beautiful honey-gold near-Gem is fully struck and exhibits only trivial contact, along with a trace of struck-in grease on the obverse exergue.Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 521670, Base PCGS# 7501, Greysheet# 285501)
