1875 T$1 Trade Dollar, Judd-1426, Pollock-1569, High R.7, PR66 NGC. Ex: Share. A seated figure of Liberty faces left at the seashore, with 13 stars ringing the rim and the date 1875 below. A steamship with sails appears in the water, with sails billowing in one direction and steam blowing in the opposite direction. A scroll above the date reads IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse is that of the as-issued Trade dollar, Type One, produced from 1873 through 1876, with berry below the eagle's claw. Struck in silver with a reeded edge. This obverse/reverse combination was issued in silver, copper, aluminum, and white metal. At least seven silver examples are known.
