Description

1881-CC GSA Dollar, MS66+

1881-CC $1 GSA MS66+ NGC. Booming luster sweeps this lightly toned and practically unabraded Premium Gem. The strike is good and the eye appeal is imposing. Among Carson City Morgan dollar issues, only the 1885-CC has a lower mintage than the 1881-CC. Although close to 150,000 pieces appeared in the various GSA auctions, only a tiny percentage of those coins are comparable in quality with the present example.
