Description

1826 Capped Bust Half, O-110, MS65
Original, Multicolor Toning

1826 50C O-110, R.2, MS65 NGC. CAC. Recutting shows inside the upper loop of the 8 in the date and the arrowheads are virtually touching on the reverse, identifying the popular O-110 variety. This spectacular Gem is sharply detailed in most areas, with just a trace of softness on the eagle's claws and some flatness on some star centers. The well-preserved surfaces radiate vibrant mint luster under shades of greenish-gold and lavender toning. Census: 1 in 65, 4 finer (4/16).
