1858 1C Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-206, Pollock-242, R.5, PR64 PCGS. Snow-PT16. Paquet's Small Eagle pattern obverse is paired with the regular issue Low Leaves reverse. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. These pattern cents are reportedly part of 12 piece sets that the Mint sold to collectors or traded for Washington material to expand their collection. Housed in an older green-label holder, this Choice proof features bold design definition with splashes of blue and gold toning on attractive tan surfaces.
