Description

Popular '11 Cents' 1957 Cent on 1957 Dime
A Near-Mint Error in Silver

1957 Lincoln Cent -- Double-Denomination on a 1957 Dime -- AU58 PCGS. PCGS does not list a date for the dime, but the four digits of the date are plain to read in the area near IN (GOD WE TRUST) on the obverse. Roosevelt's outlined head forms a frame for Lincoln's portrait, though only snippets of the torch and leaves remain on the reverse. The piece shows a touch of rub; perhaps it spent as a dime a time or two before it was saved as unusual.
