Description

1843 Silver Dollar, MS62
Rose-Gold Toning, Few Marks

1843 $1 MS62 PCGS. CAC. OC-1, R.1. The 1843 has a lower mintage than the 1841 and 1842. Uncirculated examples are likely fewer than 100 pieces, and unworn pieces without problems or distracting marks are seldom seen. This originally toned rose-gold representative is minimally abraded and attractive. A small gray spot on the dentils between stars 4 and 5 provides an identifier. Population: 21 in 62, 24 finer. CAC: 2 in 62, 13 finer (7/22).
