Description

1858-S Gold Dollar, MS61
Reflective and Historic

1858-S G$1 MS61 PCGS. The low-mintage 1858-S gold dollar is seldom seen in Mint State, most averaging only AU or so. This attractive MS61 piece is one of six in this grade at PCGS with four finer (7/13). The golden-orange surfaces are somewhat prooflike as expected, and the scattering of minor marks is consistent with the grade. An attractive example of this historic issue.(Registry values: N4719)
