Seldom Seen in Mint State
1852-O $2 1/2 MS61 NGC. Variety 1, mintmark right of center.
Scattered extensive but individually minor ticks on each side of
this Mint State coin account for the grade, but generous luster on
the orange-gold surfaces, along with the bold strike, ensure that
the eye appeal remains high. This date is surprisingly scarce in
any Mint State grade.(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25HU, PCGS# 7766, Greysheet# 8370)
