Description

Well Struck 1909 MS63 Double Eagle

1909 $20 MS63 PCGS. A sharp strike provides solid definition on the design features of this Select double eagle, including the panes of the Capitol building, Liberty's fingers and toes, and the eagle's feathers. Attractive peach-gold luster adorns both sides, and inspection reveals few grade-consistent marks. The 1909 is difficult to locate above MS63. This example is housed in a green-label holder.(Registry values: N2998)
