Description
1787 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Draped Bust Left VF30 PCGS. M. 37.3-i, R.3. Not a rare variety, but interesting for its unique combination of punctuation (pheons, crosses with dots, etc.) within the legends. This medium brown piece has XF details on about half of the devices, while the other half of the coin is softly struck due to misaligned dies. Listed on page 43 of the 2004 Guide Book. (#370)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2B2X, PCGS# 370, Greysheet# 165)
