Original Mint Luster
1896-S $20 MS63 NGC. The original, vibrant luster of this
Select 1896-S double eagle presents well in-hand, with a strong
cartwheel effect and minimal abrasions for the grade. Each side
yields warm peach-gold color, while a few tiny copper spots appear
beneath a loupe, including three on the obverse and two on the
reverse. A suitable S-mint type coin.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26CG, PCGS# 9030, Greysheet# 9957)

Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
