Description
Carlos IIII gold 8 Escudos 1804-JF Popayan, KM62.2, lustrous XF-AU, very nicely struck with no adjustment marks or flan flaws, just some normal contact marks on the obverse. The patina is highly attractive with flashes of deep harvest orange and antique rose. The edge reeding is incomplete in areas, but there is no evidence of mounting.From the Besalú Collection.
