1883 G$1 MS67 PCGS. CAC. Dramatic fire-red, peach, and lime shades confirm that even the 90% gold, 10% copper alloy can tone in original and aesthetically pleasing colors. One of only 10,800 pieces struck, since silver halves and dollars were more convenience in commerce than the small and easily lost gold dollar.
