Description

1909 1C PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. The lemon-copper and olive-orange surfaces of the obverse have turned only slightly, though the pumpkin-inflected reverse shows duskier hues. Overall, an attractive example of this later first-year Lincoln matte proof issue. PCGS has graded 20 finer Red and Brown specimens (12/07).
