Description
Complete 1936 Proof Set
All Coins PR65 to PR67
1936 Type Two Proof Set PR65 to PR67 NGC, CAC. All five
coins in this NGC-certified set grade Gem or better with CAC green
label. The 1936 proof coins enjoy wide recognition as the most
challenging of the 1936-1942 era. The set includes: Type Two or
Brilliant Finish cent PR65 Red, primarily copper-peach with
lavender accents; Type Two or Brilliant Finish nickel PR66,
a gleaming Premium Gem specimen, minimally toned save for touches
of green-gold at the borders; dime PR65, great reflectivity
for the issue with slightly more coverage and intensity to its
green-gold toning compared to the nickel; quarter PR65, with
a faint gold tinge to its luminous silver overtone and arcs of deep
olive along parts of the rims; and the half dollar PR67,
crown jewel of the lot, with similar green-gold border toning as
the nickel and dime but even stronger mirrors and even a hint of
contrast.
