1881-O $1 MS66 NGC. There are a surprisingly high number of
Gems graded as such from this New Orleans issue, considering the
paucity of Premium Gem coins from NGC and PCGS combined. This
example displays snow-white surfaces complemented by the thick
cartwheel luster in the fields. Outstanding strike definition
includes the central areas, and both sides of the piece reveal
