Scarcer Centered Mintmark Variety
1849-D G$1 MS62 PCGS. CAC. Variety 1-B. A pleasing example
of the scarce variety with the mintmark centered under the bow,
with a die crack extending through the top of the D connecting it
to the left and right ribbon ends. The fields are bright and
semireflective on this yellow-gold piece with hints of orange and
green present. The reverse displays several die cracks and
