1878 $1 Reverse of 1878, Tripled Eye, VAM-166, XF45 PCGS. A Hit List 40 Variety. Described by VAMWorld as "very rare in any grade," this variety shows abnormalities on E,P,U, and R in the motto, a notch at the top of the 1, and shallow spikes from front of the eye under the lid.
