1853 G$1 MS66 PCGS. A frosty and highly lustrous Premium
Gem, this gold dollar exhibits brilliant yellow-gold luster with
extraordinary eye appeal. The 1853 gold dollar had a mintage
exceeding 4 million coins, and quite a few survive in lower Mint
State grades. However, Gem or finer examples are seldom seen.
