Description

1793 C-3, B-3 Half Cent, VF20
Usual Die State

1793 1/2 C C-3, B-3, R.3, VF20 PCGS. The usual die state with a perfect obverse and light die rust below TES on the reverse. Both sides of this splendid example display smooth bluish chocolate-brown surfaces with a few trivial marks that prevent a higher grade. A minuscule dimple is noted inside the left obverse border, and a few other imperfections, limit the grade of this lovely half cents. The impression is well-centered, although the right obverse and reverse borders beads are no longer visible. This is an exceptional example for the fastidious collector. Our EAC grade Fine 15.
