Description

1880 Three Cent Nickel, MS 67 PCGS

1880 MS 67 PCGS. A scarce and desirable year for this superb business strike. The popularity of the three cent denomination was waning in 1880 and Philadelphia ordered only 21,000 pieces struck. This piece exhibits deep, satiny luster over untoned surfaces. The strike is razor sharp on both sides with nearly full denticulation.
