Description

1998 Cent on a 1998-P Dime
Dual-Denomination Error, MS67

1998 Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a 1998-P Dime -- MS67 NGC. The holder mistakenly calls the undertype a "1988-P" dime, but close inspection of the dime's date (visible in and around the letters NT in CENT on the cent's reverse) reveals a clear second 9 in the middle of the date. This frosty Superb Gem is minimally toned and a carefully preserved example of the popular "11 cents" error.
