1848-C $2 1/2 -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU. Variety 1. A challenging Charlotte issue with a scant production of 16,788 pieces. This peach-gold and sea-green quarter eagle shows little high point wear, but the surfaces are subdued and the upper reverse field is smoothed.Note for clients in the European Union: This lot is considered by the European Union to be “investment gold”.
