1875 Twenty Cent Piece in Copper
Judd-1414, PR64 Red Cameo

1875 20C Twenty Cents, Judd-1414, Pollock-1557, High R.7, PR64 Red Cameo NGC. Dies trial striking for the 1875 twenty cent piece, but struck in copper with a plain edge. A very interesting and unusual twenty cent piece dies trial, the surfaces are deep cherry-red with a few dabs of light blue here and there. The fields are deeply reflective and the devices heavily frosted, giving the coin its cameo contrast.
