1841-D $5 Tall D -- Cleaning -- PCGS Genuine. AU Details. Variety 5-B. The Medium or Tall D variety is even scarcer than its Small D counterpart. Overall, the Dahlonega issue has a low mintage of 29,392 pieces. The present example is well struck and lacks any reportable marks. The green-gold surfaces are somewhat glossy but acceptable to many collectors.Note for clients in the European Union: This lot is considered by the European Union to be “investment gold”.
