1939 25C PR68 PCGS. Iridescent marigold-yellow, radish-red, and lime-green toning enriches this nicely mirrored and intricately struck Superb Gem. Unlike most Washington quarters from this era, the peripheral legends are free from central softness. It would be a challenge to find any other specimen with equally beautiful patina.
