Reverse around and in exergue VIAM INVENIT VIRTUS AUT FACIT / INTER CLASS. AMERI. ET BRIT. DIE X SEP. MDCCCXIII ("Virtue finds or makes a way / Between the fleets of America and Britain September 10, 1813"), FURST.F. below.This glossy Gem boasts splendid original mint luster over mahogany-brown surfaces tinged with peripheral accents of pinkish-purple and ice-blue.
