Pope Pius XII 1876-1958 Gold Medal. Gold, proof, 36 mm, 25.0 gm, .917 fine. Struck in Germany to commemorate the life of Pope Pius XII (1876-1958). The obverse of the medal features the bust of the Pope with 1876-Pius XII-Pontifex-Maximus-1958 around him. The reverse has a cross in the center and "Avorum Non Moritura Virtus" and "Auareus Magnus."Auction Info
