MS66 1837 Seated Half Dime
No Stars, Large Date
1837 H10C No Stars, Large Date (Curl Top 1) MS66 NGC. A
delightfully preserved example of this first-year issue, of
approximately equal rarity to its Small Date counterpart until the
upper circulated grades, when the Large Date becomes more
available. This well-defined piece is largely silver-gray with
glimmers of golden-tan at the margins. NGC has graded just 18 finer
examples (12/08).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 232M, PCGS# 4311, Greysheet# 3758)
