Small Stars Obverse, MS65

1838 H10C Small Stars MS65 NGC. This well struck Gem has a sea-green obverse field and a lilac seated Liberty. The reverse is almond-gold and aquamarine. A mark-free example of this rare variety. Stars 3 and 4 are particularly attenuated. The dies are prominently clashed, with diagnostic die rust on Liberty's raised arm. Census: 7 in 65, 1 finer (1/09).(Registry values: P6)
