1861 $10 AU58 NGC. The luster is only broken in the exposed fields, and the strike is certainly above average for the type. A faint pinscratch on the upper right obverse is noted. The 'rounded bun' subtype of the date, a 'bulging' or six-fold bun was also struck in 1861.(#8633) (Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2647, PCGS# 8633, Greysheet# 9382)
