Beautiful PR68 Cameo 1895 Half
1895 50C PR68 Cameo NGC. CAC. Ocean-blue and rose-red visit the peripheries of this magnificent Superb Gem. The devices are deeply frosted, and provide agreeable contrast with the glassy fields. The strike is exacting, since the fletchings and shield corners provide complete definition. Splendidly preserved, and nearly uncollectible any finer. The proof 1895 half dollar has the same mintage as its famous silver dollar counterpart, but is far more affordable since the 1895 business strike half is plentiful. A scant 880 proofs were struck.
