A beautifully preserved representative aside from the private E countermark on the obverse, which may be a mark from a past collector. Minted on a pleasantly broad flan, a quick turn of the wrist reveals waves of shimmering golden backlight, confirming that this piece was carefully plucked from circulation not long after it was first issued.
