PR70 Deep Cameo Type Two
1981-S Anthony Dollar
1981-S SBA$ Type Two PR70 Deep Cameo PCGS. The thorough
hobby promotion of the Type Two '79-S proof varieties was
duplicated two years later when the mintmark style again changed.
The Type Two mintmark has large, bulbous serifs and is less
symmetrical than its Type One counterpart. An outstanding
white-on-black specimen. The final S-mint proof issue, since the
belated 1999 proofs were coined at Philadelphia. Population: 46 in
70 Deep Cameo (6/09).(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 99595, Greysheet# 7985)
