1818 25C --Cleaned--ANACS. XF40 Details. B-7, R.4. The rare early die state without the die crack through the left stand of the N in UNITED, which Breen and Browning agreed is always present. Our January 2006 Reiver auction (lot 22360) had a Good 6 example without the die crack. A slate-gray example of this scarcer die pairing. Slightly subdued, and a thin mark is noted in front of the arrowheads.(Registry values: P2)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RH, PCGS# 5322, Greysheet# 5062)
