Not Sold Description
1789 TOKEN Mott Token, Thin Planchet, Plain Edge XF40 PCGS. Breen-1021. The Thin Planchet pieces are scarce relative to the usual Thick Planchet variety. An early dies example that lacks the often-seen die break from the northwest clock corner. The centers show traces of an undertype, probably an off-center Mott token. Chocolate-brown and free from consequential marks. Listed on page 70 of the 2010 Guide Book.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2B5L, PCGS# 604, Greysheet# 245)
