Description
1999-P 5C Jefferson Nickel Four Piece Mated Set ANACS. The set includes: Double Struck MS63; Broadstruck, Double Brockage MS64 Six Steps; Struck Then Saddle Struck MS63 Six Steps; and an Off Center, Indent MS65 6 Steps. Modern mint presses have multiple sets of dies operating at once, which helps to explain the present error combination. Coins #1 and #3 were struck normally, then struck again widely off center. For their second strike, both coins indented coin #2, which was also broadstruck. A third strike on coin #1, very widely off center, indents coin #4, which is struck off center toward 2:30.Auction Info
