Description

Six-Piece 1942 Proof Set PR65 to PR66 NGC. The sextet resides in separate holders, bearing certification numbers from the same grading submission. The set includes:

Cent PR65 Red. The obverse is butter-gold, and the reverse is orange. The portrait high points are cherry-red, and the upper left reverse has a few narrow horizontal streaks.

Type One nickel PR66. A lightly toned and lovely specimen. One minute tick on the steps.

Type Two nickel PR66. Consistent and moderate tan-gold and lavender-gray toning drapes both sides.

Dime PR66. Orange-red, lemon-gold, and magenta shades are most prominent along the right reverse margin.

Quarter PR66. Aquamarine and apricot-gold toning graces the reverse periphery.

Half dollar PR66. A precisely struck representative with smooth, glassy surfaces and faint green-gold toning.
