Near-Mint Pine Tree Sixpence, Noe-33
1652 SHILNG Pine Tree Sixpence AU58 NGC. Noe-33, Crosby 1-A, R.3. 34.0 grains. A chocolate-brown piece with tan and aqua overtones. The obverse is misaligned toward 12 o'clock, as always for Noe-33, while the reverse is nicely centered. No marks are worthy of mention, and the strike is consistent aside from minor obverse softness near 10 o'clock. The partly lustrous surfaces are slightly wavy, as made from a rocker press.
