1964 Quarter on a 1964 Nickel, MS64
1964 25C Washington Quarter--Double Denomination on a 1964 Nickel--MS64 NGC. The nickel date is clear, as is most of IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse of the nickel undertype is limited to the top curve of Monticello. A lustrous and lightly toned near-Gem with pleasing preservation. All the quarter legends are clear except for (appropriately) the denomination, which is distorted from unrestrained metal flow toward the rim.Auction Info
