AU Details 1801 Ten Dollar

1801 $10 --Bent--NCS. AU Details. Breen-6843, Taraszka-25, BD-2, R.2. One of only two die marriages for the date, the other is the R.5 BD-1. This green-gold Heraldic Eagle ten is richly detailed, but the surfaces are slightly glossy and the obverse is a bit abraded. Minor rim nicks are noted at 6 o'clock on the reverse and 3 o'clock on the obverse. The edge appears to be filed between 12 and 1 o'clock. Still a partly lustrous and desirable example.(Registry values: P1)
